Wanna have a fluffy idli and dosa to eat? Then the need is a dosa dough. How do you make it? There is solution to make nice idlis and dosas in your home and also getting value for your money. Yes, it seems to be big and bulky considering a big grinder though work is more. But it will be necessary where the family members are more or say joint families. But in modern families members will be less than 6 and they don’t need a big grinder to grind dough. So the solution is tabletop grinder and my choice is Ultra Pride plus multifunction table-top grinder.
Making dough in mixer grinder consumes more time and electricity. But this table top grinder is very useful in making dough easily and in a nick of time. So the time is saved and also power. This table top grinder is very easy to use and easy to maintain. More so it is trouble free. This is very light in weight that makes it easy to carry it to any place. It is easily portable. It is very sleek and aesthetically designed without any compromise on quality and comfort. It comes in great shades and needs less space for its occupance so that you can keep at any place of desire in your kitchen and it suits to your adjustments. We bought this grinder in 2001 and it has no problem to trouble us. It is very useful in a Nuclear family and more helpful in making dough and makes it in a very fast time to get you a soft dough for the dosaholics and idli munchers. The convenience in this grinder is bought by the light weight as its net weight is only 9.8 kg. And the grinding is got by the 75 W single phase motor runs in a 900 rpm speed. So it’s the job done by the little one. Isn't it great and exciting? The capacity is 1.25 litres in soaked medium. There fore time consumption is less. Not only dough is grinded in this one. You can also make masala pastes and also grind greens for your delicious Sambhar, rasam and other items. As said earlier this is a multifunctional one. Here one can knead atta for the soft rotis, puris and parathas.
For kneading atta you have to remove the grinding stone and adjust Atta kneader to it and feed it with Atta and coater. Then in the next few minutes your atta is ready to become puri/paratha. Another function in this is that one can scrap the coconut to make chutneys. But I didn’t feel convenient by using this because we have to put the coconut scraper and the motor is on. Then we have to feed the coconut and apply pressure to get it scraped. This is one thing that I feel inconvenient. But other features in this nullify this because there is no other cons in this product. Very attractive, sleek, portable, this one deserves to be one to be hit. The drum where the grinding takes place can be taken out and cleaned it and again replace it. It is the same in case of grinding.
Also there is a hatch which is locked above the drum across it so that it couldn’t come from the position while rotating. So it seems to be exciting. One can do so much job even which a big ordinary grinder can't do. Isn't that smart. But one thing what I think is that they had to increase the number of grinding stone from 2 to 3. Because the other companies are having table top grinders with three grinding stones at the same price or say a bit more. So there will be a competition and customer may choose the 3 stone grinding one. Since this product is an authorized one…there is no problem in customer service as such. So if you are going for a table top grinder then you got to go for Ultra Pride and you'll see the difference. So have one and enjoy the luxury of munching nice food.
