I always land up having at this place when I come for a movie in Symphony theatre. Its so ideally placed. :)
Going for a movie to Symphony ??
Symphony Theatre in MG Road Bangalore is the best landmark for this hotel.
Located just above this theatre, its a great respite for hungry moviegoers.
Looking at the crowd there it seems to be a popular place for the people in Bangalore.
Somewhat noisy but you have an option :)
This place has an open air area where you can sit and eat. This open air area is obviously noisy but I prefer it here if I want a quick bite.
There is a sitting area inside if you want to avoid the noise in the street and the people but I would rather recommend you the open air area.
You have a good washing area and clean tables and well a lively atmosphere...
Chat with Chaats
Ok I just come to this place for Chaats and Pav Bhaji. This is one of the few places in Bangalore which serve decent chaats.
Please do not compare with the Pav Bhaji you get in Mumbai. You just might be disappointed. :)
You could also order Dosas and Idlis. The South Indian platter seems to be good. I specially like the Rava Dosa.
I also like the variety of fresh fruit juices available there. If you are a frutarian like me, you can go for fresh Orange or Mosambi juice.
They do offer Chinese cuisine too but I would rather you avoid that. This is not a Chinese eat out.
The menu is pure vegetarian so my vegeterian friends can freak out here.
A little pricey but quick service
I guess owing to the popularity and the crowd the prices have been totally revised. It used to be quite light on the pocket.
A meal for two would cost you about 150/- to 200/-
But anyway, I guess you can give this place a try.
If you are in a hurry you could ask the waiter what would be quick. Usually the service is quite fast considering the crowd which is ever moving !!!
My thoughts
If you freak out on chaats, you can come here and check this place out. Ideally you can check this place out before or after a movie in Symphony.
Again another place to chill out with your partner or with friends !!! :)
