I booked an Aakash tablet years ago(3-4 I don't remember as its been long time. But I ordered it when it was launched).
On 9th October 2013, 06:51 pm:
I received a call from+918380055225sion informing me about my booking of Aakash tablet. A lady named “Jyoti” tells me that the company has launched a next version of this tablet 7ci. She told me the specifications of the tablet – also mentioning the this version of the tablet had a calling feature too. Plus she said that as I had booked this tablet long time back so there is an offer for a few customers only in which those customers will get this station new version tablet for the same price as the older model i.e. for Rs. 3800+ Rs300 courier charges. After all this conversation I asked her to send the tab at my home.
On 11th October 2013, around 12 pm:
I received this tablet which was delivered through Bluedart company.
Invoice number-AMBD10100426.
Dated-10th October 2013.

As it was a cash on delivery, I gave the money to the courier boy. When I switched it on and saw the features – to my surprise – it DID NOT HAVE A SIM CARD SLOT and thereby NO CALLING FEATURE.
I was feeling so cheated. I called them up the very next moment and informed them about the same. The lady on the other side said that I will have to confirm it with the department and will get back to you. I said ok but plz do it asap.
12th October 2013:
I made calls at-least 10 times between 10 am to 5 pm and NOBODY PICKS UP. I again called at 05:41 pm and a guy picks up telling me that the office has been closed early today. Usual timings are 10-6 pm. I told him the issue and he asked me to call on Monday i.e. 14th October 2013.
Today, 14th October 2013:
I have been continuously calling them up and NOBODY IS PICKING UP CALLS on any given contact number. I have all the 3 call recordings.
