Just a few days back, I had reviewed another cab service and I was pretty negative about it. Nowadays, we all are familiar with the elaborate services that we come across right at our doorstep. And with the initiation of these transportation services, travelling has been confined to just a click from our smartphone. One such services is the Uber Cabs services.
Originally functioning from the California, US, Uber Cabs is an American transportation cab services that has been successfully serving Indian customers since a long time now. I am a regular rider of Uber owing to its quick availability and hassle free rides.
Here I would like to highlight a few plus point of this transportation service.
1.) First Ride Absolutely Free – Uber is among the oldest cab services operating in India. Just like any other transportation service, Uber provides its users a free ride for the first time. Anyone who installs and sign-ups in the Uber app for the first time gets an exclusive coupon that grants an absolutely free first ride.
2.) Easy Availability of Cabs – I remember once I had to go to the station and I tried booking an Ola cab. But there was no availability of any Ola cabs at that moment. I waited for the next hour but to no avail. Finally I gave up. However this never happened with the Uber cab services. There cabs are easily available and almost instantly. This is a major advantage of Uber Cabs over any other transportation services.
3.) Pocket Friendly Charges – The charge of Uber Cabs are reasonable and pocket friendly. The cabs are sorted in two types – Mini cabs and Large cabs. The Mini cabs charge a rate of Rs.10 to Rs.12 per KM along with the base charge while the Large cabs charge around Rs.15 per KM. Besides, the large cabs are only available for pre-booking and advance booking. This is hence a very pocket friendly ride for an AC cab.
4.) Attractive Offers – Along with the above features, Uber has numerous attractive features for its customers very frequently. This offers can be availed exclusively on the application only and not otherwise. There are offers that provides users with free rides, special discounts and a whole lot other facilities.
Summing it up, the few Pro’s and Con’s of Uber Cabs are:
Pro’s – 1.) First free ride.
2.) Pocket friendly charges.
3.) Easy and Instant availability of cabs.
Con’s – 1.) Lack of reach in many cities.
Recommendation – The Uber Cabs are strongly advised by me to all. Amongst the various other cab services, Uber Cabs is the best in my opinion. If your city has Uber Cabs, then you must give it a try. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
