In this review I am going to share with you the experience which I faced last Tuesday while I booked a cab from Uber. Uber is overall a nice app, we can't say it the best but still I prefer Uber Cabs above any other Cab Service Provider like Ola or Meru etc. But one thing I feel which Uber and every other cab company lacks is reliability.
Last Tuesday I booked a cab from Uber app and it took 15 mins approx to reach me. I booked that ride using Paytm wallet to get some discount.
Finally my cab came and the driver started my trip meter. After we were halfway middle of the ride the driver got a call maybe from his home as he said. He then asked me whether he can drop me somewhere nearby because he has to leave for some personal reasons. I was getting late to reach my place and the place he wanted to drop me off was a place where only few cabs can be booked, so I just said to drop me first at least to some convenient location, but he refused.
He started arguing and in anger I said it's better to drop me home then. The weird driver even took a u-turn and dropped me the place he started the trip. All that suffering cost me around an hour, and still regret why I did took that cab. Probably the worst ever experience with any cab driver I have ever had. And the last mistake I made was giving that driver a 5 star, I don't know where my brain was when pressed that 5 star rating button.
Since then I have complained Uber about it, but I still don't know if they took any action or not.
