I am writing this from the restaurant because the restaurant doesn't have feedback form it seems.
What was good ?
We ordered Veg Biryani, Mexican Pasta, Roti and Starters. Food was very good.
What was not good ?
1) In Nungambakkam they are located in a very narrow lane on Khadar Nawaz Khan Road without any Name Board on the road to even guide you. So when we called from Starbucks building and asked them they did not give a polite reply. Finally, we found it. First impression itself was not good. When the customer asks for the location you have to be polite atleast.
2) We arrived at 1 pm, all the tables (except one) were empty. There was loud noise called " music" disturbing the ambience. The interiors were good. But no one bothered about the noise and later we requested them to keep the music volume low but they very slightly reduced.
3) The tables had insects - bugs we had to shoo them away few times.
4) The waiters never come near us, they stand afar. In the blaring noise also they couldn't hear us. For every order we had to call SEVERAL times, that I got tired of it. Maybe they should give me a complimentary energy drink for that (of course sarcasm)
5) To search for the " Hand Wash" was a big task. No boards. Even the entrance door did not have a " Pull " " Push" label.
One guy was standing near the entrance, though he was a staff he didn't bother to help me locate the Handwash. He just said " left side". When I stepped out near the elevator area, there was a dysfunctional very dirty wash basin and its tap was not working. Again I stepped in and asked the guy, he sounded irritated and said" that side outside". I didn't understand but went out again to the elevator area. He didn't even bother to help me by coming out with me though he was not doing anything in particular.
I went near the elevator area again, some girls emerged from a room labelled " Restroom" , then I learnt it was the Handwash too!
6) The items on the menu are very very limited.
They are very pricey considering their poor service standards.
7) Let's look at the pet store experience. You get to touch them they are friendly; there they are selling 10 Rs. Cookies for Rs.50 and you can feed the pets by buying them !!
8) Finally the exit for the car is different and not the same as the entry, this created confusion as some of them went and waited on one side (entry side) and the rest were trying to move the car to the other side, the security posted there are also very lazy, they don't tell us the instructions clearly.
Overall NO VALUE FOR MONEY. SERVICE IS POOR.
WE don't go out for " good food " but the experience also. Again for pasta, the portion size was small for Rs.400 they charge. It was much less compared to other restaurants.
TWISTY TAILS DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF "FINE DINING"
P.S: Upset I didn't order desserts, family ordered milkshakes and said it was watery.
