Hello People,

Now this is the first time I am writing a review on anything on mouthshut.com I hope people appreciate the effort. I have owned this bike for quite sometime now. I have already crossed the 17000 Kms mark on the bike & its still running good. Though I can say that it loses its lustre after such long runs. I had owned the silver colored bike for 1.2 years now it has already become a light dull grey. But the whole structure of the bike is still sturdy. People say the TVS tyres are not good enough, I would agree to them if they say the grip is not good. But, the durability of the tyres is excellent. I have'nt got a flat tire from the very first day. The quality of the seat is decent. It gives you a comfortable level of seating but, is a pain in the back when, it comes to long rides. I have already taken it up on matheran & in the sands of alibaug. Let me tell you people this is not a bike for long rides. If you talk about city riding, I would say its unbeatable as its handling capabilities really are excellent. Top speed bah... whats that ? I have'nt gone beyond 105 Kmph even though the speedometer tops out at 140 Kmph. The pickup is decent, I can take on an old pulsar at anytime. But, still could have worked better if it had a 5th cog in it. Also, the quality of the headlights is BAD !!! Probably my cellphone might give more light than that ! All the dials are pretty neat still working to the same precision as they were on the first day. The most important specification of any indian bike its mileage... It gave me somewhere close to 45-52 Kmpl in the start. But, has fallen down to 40-45 Kmpl in the last 6 months. But, still works for me as I don't have to spare more then 1 Litre a day as I travel 46 Kms daily on the highway. The brakes are decent but, tend to make a ear piercing shriek when you try to use them in the rains. The discbrakes are good although, I did'nt quite understand why they are on the left of the bike & not on the right. My mechanic gets me to change the brakes pads on the disc every 5000 Kms. I don't know if that is really necessary, I would appreciate if anyone could advise me on the same. Although I had bad experience buying the bike from Zion Motors, Dadar... I would rather say the whole riding experience was excellent & worth the money that I spent on the bike. I would recommend this bike to any city commuter who wants to get value for his money.
