I have purchased TVS SCOOTY PEP+ about six month ago . I am satisfied with its poformance and mileage. Its great look, good handling, comfort and good mileage make it a"great deal".
TVS Scooty Pep+ is an advanced version of TVS Scooty Pep. It sports a powerful 90cc four-stroke engine that delivers a peak power of 5 bhp and a peak torque of 5.8 Nm.
TVS Scooty Pep+ comes in dual tone colours and new racy graphics. A stylish dash with an easy-reading speedometer cluster and a fresh new range of body colours has been added.
TVS Scooty Pep+ is specially designed for females and comes equipped with a number of user friendly features. The LED lighting in the under-seat storage area, the cell-phone charger below the dashboard, the fluorescent ignition key slot for better visibility at night and the innovative, patented centre-stand design with extra leverage that makes parking the scooterette a breeze, all add to the utility of TVS Scooty Pep+.
TVS Scooty Pep+ Technical Specifications:
Suspension, only SPP offers front telescopic suspension which is way ahead of the
old ineffective dampers used by rest of the industry ( HHP, KK)
Looks - tangy new set of graphics. Dual-tone shades with a racy chequered look on the front apron and rear panels. The grab-rail also now match its body colour. Better than HHP & KK
Storage- Very effective front storage . Lockable underseat storage bay with light and offers smart feature that would do well on any such scooterette — a spring at the mounting pivot prevents the seat from accidentally closing at a fuel station and crushing unsuspecting fingers. Intelligent spring loaded front hook for big shopping bags .
features -
a- Key slot is flourescent.
b - Cellphone-charging point.
c- Autolit Storage Bin
d- Spring loaded seat doesnt fall when opned for fuel filling
e- Very easy Main-stand
f - Side stand warning.
Power - 5 Horse Power which is just right for 2 people against 7 of HHP and 4.1 of KK. Enough power to carry 2 people comfortably at 50 kmph. Good enough for mid-size adult.
Wheels - 10" Alloy wheels against Steel wheels in HHP and KK.
Mileage - 60kmpl - At the outset I felt the slightly smaller engine on the Scooty Pep Plus (87cc) has helped it deliver better mileage than the bigger HHP (102cc) or Bajaj Wave (110cc) .
finally:TVS Scooty Pep Plus is the king or may be we should call it the queen of her section.
