This program is one among the best that I have ever come across. A very different program to identify new talents.
Liked the 'Gharana' concept and was amazed to see few drastic improvements in the participants. Few judges took me by surprise like Alka Yagnik.........She made some shrewd judgements which was unexpected from her. Daler Mehendi was one among the best judges as he was justifying why he gave participants 'Red/Yellow/Green' cards. The worst judges were our very own 'Kumar Sanu' who made some unrealistic comments and choices.
Shaan is a very convivial host and he steals the show with his cute 'smile'. Coming to mentors..........Am very sure that most of them would agree that Ismailji was too harsh on some of his students. Aadesh and Jatin Lalit are the best mentors from my point of view. That little arguements within mentors are sometimes funny to watch. Exchanging 'Chummas' among mentors is very hilarious. Overall, the entire package is good.
Now that only 12 participants are left, I guess even the public will have tough time voting for their favourites. This program is best terms of quality singing, hosting and mentoring participants when compared to 'Fame Gurukul'.
