Hi everybody,
I have written a review earlier. That was the time when my FX was only a week or
2 old. Now 3.5 months have passed and here I am again to put my thoughts before
you guys.
Mileage experience - The mileage my bike is giving is around 45-47. I need to pu
t this issue before the servicing guys really hard. Before the second servicing
the mileage was 50+, but now it has decreased by 5 kms/lt. Now why will anybody
go for Fiero when Unicorn and pulsar give you 50+ mileage?
Looks and riding comfort - Fiero looks cool. Chrome looks catch attention. Easy
to handle and maneuver. But now, pulsar (new looks) and the bulky looks of Unic
orn are beating TVS guys and really now TVS should do something new if they have
to be back. Unicorn is also better maneuvered as compared to pulsar.
High speed - I have reached speeds of 95-100, and the bike does not vibrates as
said by some others.
But major concern is the lack of 5th gear. Fiero seems to me a bit old model now
..(why not 5 gears when every other bike is having it in the 150 cc segment). wh
en u reach a speed of 60-65 on fiero fx, u feel to press the clutch and push the
gear down to the 5th but there is none.
Maintenance - As the bike is still new, and frequent servicings are there....the
re is not much issue with the maintenance.
I wud have gone for Unicorn, but at the time I took FX, unicorn was not in the
market.
So guys, just give a thought before u buy F2/FX. Pulsar(alloy wheels, Small fuel
tank) and Unicorn are the demand....
I wud go for a new bike after an year or wud modify FX....(probably a new bike I
is a better option)
