The story, plot and backdrop of the movie is easily predictable from the trailer of the movie. Though, the story is predictable, but the film actually deposits the actual taste of life.
PLOT - The movie revolves around the life of a housewife Sulochana aka Sulu whose role is purely justified by the versatile actress Vidhya Balan. The character of Vidhya Balan lives an usual normal middle class life which twists when she is appointed as a RJ in a radio station. Her life takes a drastic change after that incident which turns the film from a light hearted movie to a serious conceptualized movie. Manav Kaul portrays the role of Ashok-Sulu's Husband who always tries his level best to make his wife happy but due to usual workload , he results in getting angry. The perfect jewel of the movie is the lead character Sulu who indeed proves that a woman's dream are much more important in life. Throughout the movie, the excellent performance by Vidhya Balan nourishes the movie with perfect beauty.
DIRECTION - Suresh Triveni seems to be hitting a homerun by this movie. Though the movie is a small budget comedy drama, the director justifies the movie completely. Pure and sweet taste of life is portrayed at its level best . Thumbs up to the director for directing a decent movie. Though in the second half, the movie gets a bit slower but perfection in the direction copes it up very well.
PERFORMANCE - Vidhya Balan totally nails down the character with her extra-ordinary and versatile acting skills. Vidhya Balan justifies the character with her talent. Anyone can clearly say that no one can justify the character of Sulu other than Vidhya Balan. The character of Sulu is fulfilled by the utmost optimism. Hats off to Vidhya Balan. Manav Kaul as Ashok can be considered as the perfect cast for the character of Sulu's husband. Overall performance of the cast is highly appreciable. Big round of the applauds for the cast.
MY OPINION - Basically, Tumhari Sulu slams a perfect and pure blend of the taste of life. The movie is worth watching in cinema.
THANK YOU.
