Tubelight. Review on Tubelight

Tubelight is a Hindi period war drama film, inspired by the Hollywood film little boy.  Tubelight is written and directed by

Kabir khan and produced by Salman khan and Kabir khan. It casts Salman khan, Sohail khan, Zhu Zhu, Matin Ray Tangu,

Om Puri and Yashpal Sharma. Shah Rukh Khan has also done a cameo in Tubelight which is impressive. This movie captures good length, circumstances and scenes during Indo China war. Salman Khan plays Laxman Singh Bisht, who is a

gullible and good hearted person.  He lives in a small town named Jagatpur in North India with his brother Bharat Singh Bisht played by Sohail Khan).  The movie shows love and companionship between these two brothers. Younger brother Bharart is very protective  for his elder brother Laxman.

Story takes turn when Bharat serves his nation and go to army, during war many soldiers lost their lives and their families got distress. War brings an endless series of killings, bloodshed and discomfort for both the sides. Laxmans heart tears for his brother but he keeps his faith alive and waits for Bharat. Meanwhile Lilling and her cute son Guon who are Chinese immigrants also come and live in Jagatpur. People have hatred towards them due to war and its ugly impacts. But Laxman treat them with love and understands their agony as well. Banne chacha played by Om Puri is also a strong character who eggs Laxman to follow Gandhijis teachings.

At the end every thing goes well and Laxman finds his beloved brother Bharat.

Tubelight shows patriotism, brotherly love and integration.  Salman, Suhail, Yashpal Sharma, Matin Ray everyone has played well. Suhail looks fantastic and deliverers his dialogues well. Salman as always good though I found crying and weeping could be little less in some scenes. The music is really soothing some of the songs are chart-busters these days, the good thing about the music and lyrics was that it was touchy and soulful.

I really cant figure out why some people are not happy with this movie and finding it waste of time. We all knew that Tubelight was not a movie about romance, drama and fake action. This is not a typical Salman type movie but he has done justice with his role. The scenic beauty of this movie is simply admirable and eye catching.  The love and bond shown between Laxman and Bharat is actually pleasant.

The music of this film is given by Pitam, Aseem Mishra has done the choreography.  Music, photography are great though I would agree the story was not that good and could be more interesting. After watching Tubelight I met many people who got emotional through the movie and some of them were not happy watching the movie at all.  Every one has different liking's and opinion so some people are finding this movie waste of time. I liked this movie it was different and can be watched with full family. It tells the reality of war and hate crimes.

Also I would add one more point here that Tubelight is far better than watching a sense less movie which runs around live in relationships, drugs, crimes and insane cheesy scenes.
