Every time I install Truecaller, I feel very much insecure and feel im comprising my own and other data. Once you start this application you are forced to share all your contacts on Truecaller database. Its this data which each user shares with Truecaller is being shared all over the app and its highly likely that this data is being compromised.
Although it seems very good for time being when you are worried about a contract number it fetches you the contact Name and some other details. But in the meantime it compromises userdata.
It may seem user friendly but only at the cost of privacy that is being compromised.
Ease of installation : quite easy to install but it requires lot of permissions like Calls, Contacts, location, messaging etc
Features and Functions : it has just features like contact details of unknown numbers, spam callers, spam messages .
I personally feel very much insecure while I even think of installation of this app.
