I have read 100 positive reviews praising the school before deciding to put my child at TRIO world school. But read 3 bad reviews and was little concerned about them and went ahead for approaching the school. But I can't believe that I experienced the same which was described in those 3 bad reviews..Then I understood that All other reviews are not important..but those red flagged ones need to be a concern..
There is a clear discrimination for ICSE and IB curriculum.. starting from how they welcome the parents during admission to how they treat your child post admission. When we went there, there were two other families sitting with their children for IB curriculum admission. And we were not even considered as potential parents capable of admitting our child though we both are professionals. The admissions coordinator Pooja was at height of arrogance..asking us to look at website/URL sent to you us for details.
We are going there after Chaotic interview conducted by Trio and my child clearing it with ease. Since we have mentioned our preference as ICSE ..we didn't even get a call after interview. We sent mail after waiting for a week and got a reply that my child has been selected in the interview. And the day to come to school for admission was also informed after we mailed asking them the details.
We were sent with a worker to take a look at the school who refused to speak stating that she has been ordered in such a way. Just a mute walk around the school. But the IB curriculum families were taken one by one by the coordinator herself. And whatever we questioned to the coordinator she asked to check the URL sent to our mail. She pretends as if she is offering us something for free.
Of course, the IB curriculum fees are 7x of the ICSE fee. Hence the discrimination.
We were not even told to get back on a date for admission. She just told us to check the URL and left.
When we came out we saw the front office staff smiling disgracefully implying that this is how you will be treated now and after admission.
When we were walking towards gate we saw a security alerting the front office telling that there is another parent coming in and he was stressing repeatedly as IB..IB..That's when we realised that it's from the security to the coordinator everyone is inclined more towards IB..and it is at the security level where the discrimination starts.
I sincerely advise parents those who want to put your child in ICSE or CBSE..there are many other schools which values human behaviour.
If you opt this school it will be our child who will be mentally traumatized by this civilized idiots..and don't know what will be the effect.
For IB curriculum parents there are many schools with better infrastructure for the money you spend ..so think about the bad reviews before putting your child at any school because it's their first exposure and shouldn't go wrong.
