So my booking was of last month and as I clicked the pay button on Travolook website my money got deducted from my account. I immediately called them and they said your ticket got cancelled. I said when booking did not happen how come the ticket got cancelled. The guy on call paused a bit and then transferred my call to some another line. A lady picked and she told me that your ticket has been cancelled you will get your refund in 7 days. I said this is very unusual I need my refund asap. She said I will get back to you.
Then I searched about this company and found them as a fraud company as there are many passengers whose money was still pending from their side. Then I file a police complaint at my nearest station as well blocked my card and raised a fraud transaction.
Then after this, I tweeted about them on Twitter by tagging them as well all the influential ID's like jagograhak and haryana police and many more. Then luckily my tweet got noticed and retweeted by few people and got some reach then they started replying and assured me that I will get refund. But as I could see many other tweets were there saying their refund is pending for 20days 60days.
I felt I lost my money meanwhile I kept retweeting daily about them. Soon I got a call from their customer care and they said you will get refund in 3 to 4 days as we are not a fraud company. I discussed with them and said till the time you are not refunding my money you are fraud to me and I kept tweeting where is my refund on Twitter. So finally after 6 days, they arranged a call and I got my refund.
So guys from this incident two things I understood.
1st- Never fall for cheap prices and only book from genuine sites like MMT or direct from source flight website.
2nd -Always be vocal about your money. I know it takes a lot of energy to track these things but if it’s your hard-earned money then go on every portal and take your money back.
In the end, I want to say Travolook might be a genuine company but their working style is 99% fraud. As I got my refund I can say they are real but again BEWARE and if you are not getting a cheap flight then book an AC 1 ticket from IRCTC rather than booking from TRAVOLOOK.
