Pathetic Service of Funseasonal by Travel Triangle

Travelled to 8 days tour to Phuket, Krabi and Bangkok through funseasonal via travel triangle was not a good experience. The service was pathetic. These people had spoiled our trip. There were many the problems faced by us. Listed below are the major problems which will make others think twice while travelling through Travel Triangle or Funseasonal Tour and Travels


We have connecting flight from New Delhi to Bangkok and Bangkok to phuket. In between we have just 2.5 hrs in Bangkok airport to complete the visa facility and board another flight. Before booking someone told us that the time we will be getting is too short and we should change our flights. We have asked this with our agent Mr. Ankush Gupta also but he told that 2.5 hrs is sufficient. Guys such a long waiting visa queue, so long walking from arrival port to another departure gate, that the whole process taken more than 2.5 hrs. When we reached the departure gate, earlier they have refuses us that we were very late and now cannot board the flight. We requested them a lot, and told them about the queue then only they have allowed us as they also understand the situation. They have allowed as they also know about the long waiting queues. So if you have connecting flight, make sure that you have 3-4 hrs in between.


Day 1 when we reached phuket hotel, we were told that it will be a villa with swimming pool including breakfast. But to our utter surprise, it’s like 2 bedroom and 1 small kitchen set where we need to cook by our own. If we require anything, even a water bottle, we need to rush to the market. No service staff was there. Only 1 owner who is the whole sole incharge of the whole property. No one was there even to pick our luggage from the taxi to the room. Before entering the room, we got the instruction that the maid will come once a weak so please keep the room clean. Due to long travel we all were so thirsty and there was no water in the room. The owner went to the market to purchase water bottle for us. Another shock, AC not working. And the biggest shock was that there was no restaurant in the whole property. So no breakfast included. Forget about breakfast, even if we require a cup of tea, either we have to make it by our own after purchasing milk and tea from the market or needs to rush to nearby restaurant. Immediately we have given call to our agent Mr. Ankush in India. Explain him our situation, he have arranged another hotel for us. We have booked taxi on our own and immediately rush to another hotel for check in. We have paid transfer approx 1600/- from one place to another. Also the whole process has wasted 3-4 hours of our day. Thank God, another hotel was a good resort.


In phuket city tour, just the transfers were included, they have taken us to some safari tour, tiger museum, go carting, etc. Everywhere we need to purchased tickets by our own which have cost us approx 7000/- per family(2 adults & 2 kids). So basically it was just the transfer not the city tour.


While reaching krabi hotel, Exactly same thing happens as in phuket hotel. So guys if funseasonal tell you that they will be giving you a beautiful villa with personal swimming pool, including buffet breakfast, etc etc, please do not trust them. Call the hotel personally and enquire everything or either book 4/5 star property. In krabi earlier Mr. Anshul refuses us to change the hotel We have booked a taxi by our own, searched another hotel. We were about to pay advance, we have got a call from Mr. Anshul that he is arranging hotel for us. Now we were waiting on the roads with the family and luggage for the address of another hotel. After half an hour Mr. Anshul had given the address of another hotel. Again we hire a taxi, we have paid transfer approx 1200/-, reached another hotel, paid approx 15000/- at the hotel as promised by Mr. Ankush that we will get the refund of that later on.


Now next day what happened, we have in written that we can opt for either city tour or island tour. We have opted for city tour. Everything arranged. Again just the transfers were included and entry tickets were paid by us. Next day we have to catch our flight to Bangkok. When we seated in taxi, to our utter surprise, the driver told us that first we need to pay 10500/- for the city tour taken a day earlier, then only he will start the taxi. We have shown the driver that we have this in written but he ask us to call the agent. We have given call to agent, he told us that island tour was included not the city tour. What rubbish. Also if this was the case, we are ready to pay the city tour but then what about the refund of the island tour which we have not taken. When we requested the taxi guy that you start the taxi, we will talk to agent on the way or else we will miss our flight, that disgusting guy drives for 10 minutes taken us away from hotel and after that refuse to take us to airport. After a long fight, he dropped us again to the hotel from where we have taken another taxi. We have paid transfer from hotel to airport approx 3000/-. The driver was laughing loud and loud on our situation. We manage to reach airport just on time.


Again the same demand of Krabi city tour payment was there when we have to catch the flight from Bangkok to New Delhi. We have stayed for 2 days in Bangkok but no one asked for krabi city tour money. On last day when we have to catch flight, these guys again want to take advantage of the situation and the driver again started saying that first we need to pay money for Krabi city tour then only he will take us to the airport. We have shown us that we have in written that city tour is included in our itenery but no use. Again same discussion with the driver, agent etc. After a long discussion, the driver agrees to take us to the airport.


So this way we have spend a lot in transfers, hiring taxi on our own, purchasing entry tickets in the city tours, paid complete room amount at Krabi hotel. So this funseasonal have lots of hidden charges. So if you feel that this one is cheaper that other good travel companies, you were getting it wrong.


Now waiting for all the refunds from last one month. Mr. Ankush is not responding us properly. Someday he is on leave, someday he is not well, someday he ask some other person to pick our call. The refund amount is more than 20000/-


After dropping email, I received a reply stating "THERE NO QUESTIUON OF PAYING 20000.INR INSTEAD YOU HAVE TO GIVE US 27000 OF DIFFERENCE TO US" .


Such type of response is expected from these guys. So let the consumer court decide that who has to pay the money. Also will publish this review on every social media so that these people won't make fool others. About the krabi city tour, I have the written proof that it's included. It's on the mail which you have send me several times. Krabi hotel payment receipt is also there. So the consumer court will help me in taking out my money from these people.

As per our discussion with the concerned team we got the information that you were suggested(by the travel agent and TravelTriangle representative) to change your hotel before going ahead with the final booking. The whole conversation you had during the trip was with our travel agent without keeping TravelTriangle in loop. Though we do give refund to the travelers where we fail to deliver as promised, we are sorry to inform here we can not do the same as TravelTriangle delivered you what was promised and approved by you in written.
