A Disastrous Honeymoon with Travel Triangle
Our honeymoon dream trip with Travel Triangle turned into a nightmare. While travel advisor Anshu Jha readily promised everything initially, reality proved harsh once the money was paid.
First, we did not receive driver details before 10 pm the night before our 6:30 am flight to Bangalore. After numerous frantic calls, this lapse on Travel Triangle's part nearly jeopardized our entire trip.
Our Coorg hotel was switched last minute to a below-average alternative, ruining the idyllic start we envisioned. Again, a blatant communication failure on the Travel Triangle's behalf.
Upon reaching Wayanad, we requested a toy train booking details, as promised by Anshu. He denied any responsibility for forgetting to book it. Manager Kishore from All India Holidays(the booking agency) offered empty promises of "checking it, " but we never received a satisfactory response or the refund for the missed experience.
We have evidence, including call recordings, of the requested toy train inclusion for Ooty. Kishore's callous suggestion to stand in the queue for hours made a mockery of pre-booking's purpose.
If you ever consider Travel Triangle, do your own extensive research. Their advisors seemed unqualified to plan, and we had to add many crucial destinations they initially missed. Their sole focus is extracting money and then neglecting the traveler. The company name seems apt, as they repeatedly "triangle" on commitments, forcing constant follow-ups.
Their initial itinerary "Ooty to Bangalore with Coonoor sightseeing" itinerary was absurdly impractical. Don't mislead innocent travelers and they will miss out on sightseeing or miss their flight.
Furthermore, the agent and driver lacked basic communication. On arrival, the driver demanded payment, claiming Travel Triangle hadn't settled his dues.
Our promised honeymoon surprise, a welcome cake at the hotel, never materialized despite repeated reminders across Coorg, Wayanad, Ooty, and Mysore. For nine days, no cake arrived despite being promised again and again during the trip.
Both Anshu and Kishore proved utterly useless. Finally, on the last day, a senior named Rahul offered some sense, but ultimately, nothing changed.
In a nutshell, avoid Travel Triangle. You'll thank yourself for choosing peace and enjoying your trip instead of chasing fixes for their endless blunders.
