This drive is a scam for those who are looking for an overall balanced package of speed, brand and performance.
Firstly, it's pricing is totally unfair for the performance it depivers. Almost 8k for just 500 Giga bytes. You can buy a 2TB Seagate drive for that amount.
Now speaking of speed, this gave me around 20MB/s of read speed and 12MB/s write speed. My internet connection is faster than that. The disk used inside is a 5400RPM unit which is extremely slow and the USB 3.0 interfere provided is completely bottle necked because of it.
Its also very bulky and that glossy surface means that it is a finger print and scratch magnet. It will look horrible after a month of use.
My opinion about it would be, do not buy it. Positively.
