I have worked at this company in Bangalore for less than a year. I want to tell you every about the scam this company is running.
Why am I writing about it?
It breaks my heart whenever I receive messages on LinkedIn from current employees saying how they have been scammed and whether it happened to me as well or not. It seems there is a pattern to this scam and this needs to get out in open so that no new innocent college fresher falls into their trap.
What's the scam?
They offer a decent offer to freshers, pay them for the first few months(2-3) to gain their trust, and get them a lot of work hours. At one point they will say the company is not doing good so be patient, show your loyalty, you will get your salary. After not receiving a salary for the next 2 months innocent employees fall into the trap. They know if they leave now they will never gonna get their due salary thus may decide to wait, being optimistic, in hopes that they will get all of their salaries someday, as promised by the CEO himself. Some wait as long as 6 months, this means they worked there for free for at 6 months only to fall in this trap more and more. At one point everyone in this situation realizes that they are never gonna get their money, so with a heavy heart they leave, some of the fresh hires never go to work again as they get a negative view of the corporate world. The interesting part is that they hire people in batches, it''s a small company, at one point 10-15 employees work and they hire them in the cycle. All 10-15 employees join in the same month, go through the same company not doing well'' scam and leave approximately at the same time, some of them think the company is anyways gonna shut down, only to realize that the company now has hired a fresh set of people(new cycle) to scam again. They have 2-3 people who are in the company since starting and who always receive the salary in time. One of them is the manager, they are also part of the scam.
Why is this not out in public?
It is, but you have to search it, on glassdoor among many fake reviews there are many negative reviews talking about the same thing. All the positive reviews are fake, why am I saying that? all the positive reviews came out nearly in the same month, in a timeline of 2012 to 2020 how come everyone wrote a review in a particular month? does that make sense to you? All of these reviews have the same writing style and the same number of people liked it. They have successfully masked the real reviews with these fake reviews.
Why have people not taken legal action?
Some of them did but you will realize how weak our legal system is when you are in a situation like this. It''s a waste of time and effort and money. They all give subtle hints of framing you in fake data forgery case and no one wants to be in this situation.
I hope this will help someone in making the right decision and no one ever goes through what many of us have been through.
