BEST BUS - AS series..(A.C.). Review on Tips on Traveling in Buses

The best thing that BEST has done from last 2 years is introducing the AS series (A.C buses) of volvo buses in mumbai.. I am personally very happy with the service provided by them.. I have been using the AS-700 bus from borivli to Thane via ghodbunder road and enjoy travelling by this bus..

You surely get a decent crowd in the bus as A.C buses mainly coz of the ticket cost.. but then it is worth as you know you are not going to be pushed, squeezed or bullied like in the normal BEST buses.. And if cost is a concerning factor and you are a daily traveler on the same route then you can take monthly or quarterly passes.. Also the conductors are a little well behaved..

when these new buses were introduced thay never allowed more than 10 or 15 standees in a bus, but now sometimes even these blues are crowded, and that irritates.. Also BEST should increase its frequency as in the afternoons there are buses after a time gap of one hour..

Apart from the 2 issues this bus surely rocks.. It gives you a smooth travelling experience and also you can see the scenery outside from large windows..

Thanks BEST for introducing these buses, but it would be really helpful if you increase its frequency..
