As my tip for cooking food, I am going to give you the recipe for a healthy and tasty salad which I hope you all will enjoy preparing. Just give it a try! I am sure you'll like it.

It is summer time here and we experiment with different kinds of Salads. I thought of sharing the one which I prepared today.

Ingredients Needed:

3 cups, shredded and half-cooked cabbage

2 tablespoonsful fresh, shredded coconut

1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions

2-3 cloves of fresh garlic, minced

1 tablespoon peanut butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp brown sugar

1 tsp grated lemon rind

1/2 cup light cream

2 medium-sized tomatoes diced

2 cucumbers diced

2 hard-boiled eggs, coarsely chopped

Oil 1-2 table sp

Cooking Directions:

First you have to cook cabbage with little water, and bring it to a boil. Make sure you cook only for two minutes and not more than that.

Heat oil in a skillet and saute onions and garlic for 3 minutes. Stir in freshly grated coconut, peanut butter, sugar, salt and lemon rind, and mix in gradually half a cup of light cream mixed with a little water. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Let the mixture cool. In a bowl, toss together cabbage, diced tomatoes and cucumbers. Pour dressing over and mix lightly. You can chill this for an hour before serving. Last thing what you do is sprinkle chopped egg on top just before serving. Your salad is ready with an extraordinary taste!
