It is only 5 short years since Tim Henman was disqualified from Wimbledon for knocking down a ball girl in anger while losing in a doubles match with Jermey Bates.
How times change!!! Now Tim Henman is known for his sportsmanship and good behaviour on court, and he is a role model for all Juniors. There are mnay a junior tennis player trying to emulate him and Greg Rusedski, and he has certainly helped to put British tennis back on the map.
His backhand is the shot that makes him a world class player, and it is certainly his most consistent shot. His serve can be unbelievable at times, but is sometimes his greatest weakness, as he double faults consistently when under pressure. If he could improve this shot then I have no doubt that he could win Wimbledon!!
He recently won the tournament in brighton, whihc was not exactly the easist task, butI feel that if he truly wants to gain recognition then Wimbledon has got to be the one. he has done well in recnt years, but then this year bombed out in the 4th round.
He needs a change in fortune soon because otherwise his opportunity may slip away, and we may not see a British winner of Wimbldeon for years to come.
Come on Tim!!!
