NEVER!!! become a client of this USELESS provider!!!
It's worse than bad and so ridiculous, that I can't laugh anymore, because I am busier in fighting down very violent urges against them in me.
Since October 2018 we are a client, and the technicians of them became regular guests (at least I can not complain much about loneliness).
The internet signal was always very weak and a slow transmit bandwidth has too many times been the case. It also happened on a regular basis, that the internet didn't work like for a complete day or even more.
One thing, I must praise: they always seem to have technicians ready to come over. But I wonder if Tikona is simply investing in the wrong services: rather have your internet working, then maybe you don't need so many ready technicians anymore. Seems the salary of a technician is cheaper than providing a good internet connection for the paying client.
Since the beginning of January 2019, we are forced to call them daily, as the internet is NOT STABLE at all. Means, it works for 2 minutes, and then there is no connection for the next 2 minutes. It's helping in multitasking, as I am able to read a book while I try to see a movie online while all those interrupting moments. To be honest, it makes one aggressive. The technician keeps ALWAYS coming without a new router, he is just playing a bit on our router and needs our laptop for some time and leaves with the info: "It's a back end problem and it will be solved within 24 hours". These 24 hours have started on the 1st of January and stretch until now. Even in Indian time, this is way too much.
On the phone they keep on "understanding" and telling us, there is no back end problem, most even say there is no issue at all. On our last attempt to call, they said, they will finally send us a technician having a new router with him to check everything, and finally they could also make out a "major hardware issue on our roof and not a back end problem", and - tadaa - the phone call broke and no one didn't pick us anymore. No one even felt the need to call us back, although our phone log history in our file is surely blasting by all the calls we made. Even our info that we are canceling the contract and searching someone else, didn't make anyone feel the need to somehow keep us as a client.
Anyway, when the technician came, he had, of course, no router with him. When I said, the issue is on the roof, he just smiled, said it is a back end problem, which will be solved within 24 hours. I threw him out and we will have a new provider from February on. All of you working there should be ashamed. In money taking you are always flawless. Taking money without giving service back is called STEALING. So you are committing a crime. You don't care, and so won't we about you. But we will be sure telling anyone of our family members, friends and acquaintances to not even think a second to become a client of you.
P.S.: Whenever I refer to "you", I address the company Tikona. Actually, I wanted to post this on their Facebook page, but the option of commenting is shut on their page (at the moment?).
