Fusion Europe Tour w.e.f. 12th to 23rd June 2019.Four members of my family including my wife Mrs. Sapna Sood son Tamay Sood & my cousin Sis. Neelam Sharma took up the Fusion Cook tour Ex-New Delhi w.e.f. 12th-23rd June 2019 for 10 Nights/11Days through Sh. Abhishek Sharma, Thomas Cook India, Chandigarh. The total cost of the tour was 1.7 Lakhs including Airfare, transfers, hotel stay with breakfast & dinner, 8 lunches in an Indian restaurant ( except 2 days) , sightseeing, Visas, & GST. with optional tours to Jungfrouch.Disneyland Paris & Mount Titlis was included in the tour cost. Optional Jungfrouch tour was paid optional 155 Euros including lunch. plus 3Euros pp per day to be paid to the Driver of the Coach tour Bus. The price of the tour was very competitive as I checked with other tour operators SOTC & Cox & Kings for a similar itinerary tour. We booked the tour well in advance on 13/3/2019 through Mr.Abhishek Sharma, Thomas Cook India LTD.Chandigarh. The Visa process started on 28th May at Elante Mall, Chandigarh Visa office. The documents file prepared was perfect and it took normal time of 2-3 hrs to get our biometrics done. We were thrilled on 31st May on receiving the intimation regarding our Shenzen Visas stamped and started making all necessary preparation for our departure to our dream destination Europe. Mr.Abhishek handed over the flight booking, hotel booking, day wise itinerary, with all necessary do, 's and don't instructions for the tour. The tour consisted of visit following places: Paris, Switzerland, Italy: Milan, Rome, Venice, Vatican City Austria: Innsbruck, Germany: Munich. Being my first International tour and being a Senior citizen travelling with a perfect tour company in a group was a good decision instead of planning on my own which could be never possible and feasible as it's not possible to mAnasultange everything on your own, be it the hotel booking, transfers, sightseeing, finding suitable best Indian restaurant for food , sightseeing itinerary, connected guidances , security advisory etc.etc.Our flight was made through Kuwait Airways. Although we didn't have anything against their flight food, but they don't provide inflight alcoholic drink. So Thomas Cook company takes advantage of their low-cost flights selecting such flights to be economical. We had a changeover fight to Paris from Kuwait with 3 hrs stoppage. The flights were good and comfortable with Boeing 777 and Airbus. On reaching Paris a big trouble was waiting . I couldn't find one of my own baggage at the baggage belt. All my clothes, essentials and medication for 11 days tour was in it. I had a sign of relief when I met Col. Dayal and his family from Gurugram at the Paris Airport who too had taken the same Fusion Europe tour and facing a similar problem. We reported and made a written complaint at the luggage office, Paris Airport. After checking the Lady in charge informed that luggage was left behind at Kuwait Airport and shall be back by next day schedule flight and will positively be delivered at our designated hotel of stay at Paris within 1-2 days through a courier service. We checked out after all the turmoil of missing baggage. At the exit of Paris Airport, we were greeted by our Tour MAnasultanger Mr.Christoffer De Malo who took us all to waiting Coach bus at the Airport parking and we all were dropped at our designated hotel at Paris. We were greeted with a welcome cold juice at the reception and given our room keys. After relaxing we all were advised by him to join for dinner at 8 pm. On dinner, we met with other members of the group and now we were a family of 47 with a mix of different parts of India & age group including elderly, young and also few kids.On day 2 in the morning, we all had our breakfast which was very good. We boarded our tour bus and our Tour MAnasultanger introduced himself and Driver. We too gave our introductions one by one. We had a guided tour of Paris: Alexander Bridge, Arc De Triomphe, Concorde Square, Invalided Champs, Elysees and much more. We enjoyed driving through the Seine river and visited Eiffel Tower. It took only 1-2 hrs waiting to stand in queue for security and entry to the Tower. We witnessed the scenic beauty of Paris city from the 2nd level of Eiffel Tower and returned to our hotel rooms. The weather was very pleasant and we had a sound sleep.Next day 03 we had our breakfast and visited Disneyland Park. Although all Rides were included in the package we enjoyed few and wandered in the Park and in the end watched the Disneyland Parade at 5 pm. We didn't opt for optional World famous Lido show which was late at 11 pm as we were exhausted and took a decision better take rest to get energized for further tour itinerary, therefore went to our rooms after dinner.Next morning day 04 after breakfast we were onto scenic Switzerland. Tour MAnasultanger kept us comfortable during the long journey to Switzerland. We reached Switzerland at 7 pm and were dropped at our designated hotel for dinner. The dinner was delicious with a variety of both Veg and Non-Veg Indian Menu dishes.Next day 05 we all opted for an optional visit to Jungfraujoch and Interlaken with lunch.for which we paid 155 Euros pp. to our Tour MAnasultanger. I strongly suggest and recommend the future aspirant tour visitors to spend 155 Euro worth to visit this place of having a wonderful adventurous ride in Cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald Grind to a height of 3, 454 meters to Europe's highest railway station. A World of eternal ice and snow. The top of Europe was a memorable chilly cold encounter with snow and ice giving much relief from the hot 40+ degrees Celsius temperature at Chandigarh & New Delhi. We had to take out our Jackets and other warm clothings to keep us warm in 0 to -4 degree celsius at top of Jungfurouch. We visited the ice palace and the Sphinx observatory deck to view the longest glacier in the Alps. Later we visited the Interlaken and took photos with the bronze statue of famous Bollywood Producer Director Yash Chopra and most beautiful photoshop locations of Interlaken. We returned to our hotel for a delicious Indian dinner and rest for the night.Next day 06 we had our breakfast and we were out for orientation tour of Lucerne and visit Mt.Titlis. Lucerne was a Lion Monument. We also got some time to shop for famous Swiss watches and Chocolates. We purchased famous Swiss watches for all members of our family and also took the famous Swiss Chocolates for our friends and relations in India. Overnight we were at Bellinzona for night stay in our hotel.Getting good Indian food in Europe is a challenge. We were lucky enough as Thomas Cook provided with very good delicious food at all selected restaurants and hotels except at one which we complaint to Mr. Christopher our tour MAnasultanger with a hope that Thomas Cook will look into their selectivity of restaurants for food hereinafter. Our tour MAnasultanger was a calm person to find every solution to if any problems and was very particular about solving any issue promptly. Although our group was very particular about punctuality during the whole tour Mr. Christoffor never lost his temper and remained too cool a personality and tried his best to gather each and everyone and didn't get anyone separated from the group to cause trouble to the whole group. If anybody was lost or late he made the search personally in all directions to keep the group intact.Although the hotel rooms were smaller in size but all were very clean and hygienic with best quality of breakfasts and dinners both veg and non- veg. Thanks to Thomas Cook and especially our Tour MAnasultanger for doing the things in perfect professional manner to make our 11 days tour a most excellent, wonderful & memorable one indeed.Next day 07 we had an orientation tour of Milan and also visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The coach Driver provided comfortable journey during the tour, since traveling long in Europe is not like in India. You have to use paid washroom in Europe, but Mr. Christopher tried his level best, his tour mAnasultangerial role is commendable to provide us full comfort and keeping the time schedule and sync the group all time active for smooth operations.Next day 08 we had a guided tour of Rome and Vatican City, which is the smallest country in the World. We visited holy Basilica of St.Peter's and saw the Colosseum, the Victor Emmanuel monument, Circus Maximus, Roman Forum and much more. Thomas Cook arranged 2-3 external local guides too. One at Leonardo de Vince square, 2nd at St.Peter's Basilica 3rd at Rome Colosseum. They explained and guided us with the history behind the monuments and significance of the visited places in a vivid manner. We reached the designated hotel Planet at Arezzo at 7: 30 pm and a pleasant surprise were awaiting us. It was a Drink, Dance, Dinner at hotel Planet, Arezzo which was fabulous. The Baalliee France trope girls danced so well and made such a bonding that all members danced during the show with them. Even the entertainment shows and songs at the dinner were tiredness relieving. We all got recharged from the performance of Drinks served delicious dinner and dance together with the Dance Troupe girls.Next day 09 we proceeded to the pier and took a private boat to Venice and saw St. Mark's square with Basilica. Doge's Palace, Campanile and took a Gondola boat ride at the Bridge of Sigh's which can be hired for 30 minutes aishwaryasingh23ing 80 Euros per boat for maximum 6 person. We remembered the famous song "Do lafjoon ki hai kahani "from the Bollywood film was shot at the same location in Gandola boat. In the evening we visited the famous Murali Glass showroom where we saw the glass decorations making demonstration. We made purchase of few beautiful Murali glass decoration pieces. Overnight again stayed at hotel Planet, Areezo with a similar Wine Drink, Dance & Dinner enthusiasm in the company of Holy Balliaee Dance Groups and got totally recharged with their exotics performance.Next day 10 we proceeded to Innsbruck for an orientation tour and visited Golden Roof, Maria Therese's Strasse the oldest hotel building at the square which dates back to 1390 A.D. We hired a taxi from Airport to Chandigarh and arrived home safely with pleasant memories of our Fusion Europe tour which we'll treasure for a lifetime. Let's hope we make much more and more memorable tours in future by the blessings of Almighty. In conclusion, it's been a fantastic trip. Every destination visited has left innumerable lifetime memories may be Paris, Switzerland, Austria, Jungfrouch, Mt. Titluss, Vatican City, Venice or Rome. The group itself was very phenomenon with all age groups elderly, young and kids from different places of India, to q but was a perfectly mixed blend of energetic human beings full of life.
