When you are so much in love with that sister, why did you let her marry that guy or have such an affair in first place?

So the director sets a plot to pack an action and ''gilli'' masala; that is;''Thalai nagaram'' is ''Tharuthalai nagaram'' . So our hero takes avatar to do ''vadam'' all the Chennai area dada's. In that process, the second half ''vadam'' the audience if the poor fellow is a serious movie lover or who fishes for some logic. Best defense, is to prepare and laugh that out as some comedy sequence.

When ''AMMA'' is in full swing to woo the voters and making ''Chennai'' as numero uno, the hero underscores it by saying it is full of goons. Since the movie came at time when all the ''dada'' encounters were over thanks to Mr.Vijay (Hello, Athu Mr.Vijayakumar-unga... intha Veerapanai kooda suttare, avaru!) ''AMMA'' was not infuriated by this. Otherwise, Vijay must be behind bars given he is acting under M.K.Stalin son banner. When you can have ''Kuthu'' dance with ''aatha'', why not ''athaa'' will ''aappu''? Mr.Vijay! That song was a treat for all ''Kuthu'' lovers. Saya Singh has done a neat job. Aatha....

The worst fear is Vijay acknowledges himself having kids as great fans. Given his track record from ''Sangavi'' era, he has come far. Still they are not for your toothless fans. Mr. Vijay, please don't try to attract kids with one nice sequence and 99% crap adult sequence. Leave them alone and woo only those college kids.

The director has to be credited for creating some scope for the female lead. In this Mallika scores good. She has such beautiful voice who gels with young sister evolving as a married women. A brilliant actress. We need directors to use such actresses.

This was claimed to be the second ''PASAMALAR'' in the Tamil film history for portraying 'bro-sis' love. That was too much. He can be forgiven for moving out of TR school.

The movie won't disappoint any Vijay fan, as the director able to fit his storyline into ''Gilli'' template.
