Traumatic experience for my little one. Review on Thepetnest

I had a very traumatic experience with this company. I booked a 9-11 am full grooming session that costs 1499 rupees. When the day and time came, the groomer did not show up so I called the customer care and explained my problem. She said she will get back to me about the matter and called me back afterwards and told me that the groomer was not responding to calls and that another groomer will be attending to my pup and asked if 12.30 was okay for me. I agreed because if the groomer was not responding, then ultimately it's not their fault.

The other groomer that was assigned came.

He was very abusive towards my dog. He kept threatening to beat my dog if he didn't co-operate.

How can this guy just threaten to beat my dog up right in front of me?!

Like wtf?

He is not possibly human because anyone with this kind of behaviour towards dogs or any kind of pets in general are basically sadists.

Why would you hurt a dog just because he won't let you touch him and groom him?

He had the audacity to even say "I'm getting angry, I'm going to beat him if he doesn't co-operate"

My dog did proceed to bite him.

On top of that, because I really needed the grooming service, I said there is no need to do such things, I will sedate my dog and your work will be easy.

I spent an extra 300 just to sedate my dog at a nearby vet clinic.

He was able to finish his work in literally 30-40 min and he trimmed my dog's nails.

For this, I had to pay 1600.

Why was I paying 1600 when the package was 1499? And on top of that, the full grooming service consisted of 11 different services such as hair cutting, nail trimming, body massage, paw massage, teeth brushing, ear and eye cleaning, etc. But he only trimmed my dog's hair and trimmed his nails.

It was such a horrible and traumatic experience for me and my pet. It was also a huge waste of my money. If I brought him to a regular groomer, he would have treated my dog better and gave me the exact same services for 1200 without sedating my dog at all.

My pup is extremely traumatized that if he sees me holding a pair of scissors or a trimmer, he immediately hides under my dining table.

This is the worst grooming experience I've ever had in my entire life.

These people are not qualified to work with dogs. Extremely unprofessional. If they think it's "cool" to show superiority towards dogs just to impress the owners and show them how cool they are, then they better think twice about their thoughts and actions. Just because dogs cannot speak doesn't mean they cannot bite. All I have to say is that the groomer is lucky that I have a Shih Tzu and not a Doberman or any other large and dangerous breed.

Please don't torture your voiceless little ones by trusting and booking from them.
