Sharp 7 in the morning,a bell rings, you pick up the phone but it’s a doorbell dear!!!
In your half sleep you pick up the newspaper lying on your doorstep.A cup of tea along with TOI will do good.
But in this review I’m not referring to “TOI”.But, it’s about our supplement “Bangalore Times”.Alas!!It’s one of the worst supplements among the leading newspapers.
I wouldn’t complain about “Delhi Times”,infact I enjoyed reading it plus it was 8 pages compared to 4 pages in this supplement.
That anyway doesn’t make such a big difference have many a times heard that good things come in small packages but “Bangalore Times” is an exception.
Basic Flaws:-
1.First and foremost,I am sure that the editorial board is in the hands of immatures.
2.The content of the newspaper is absolutely ridiculous. One has to read their “Backbeat” to believe it.
3.Wrong usage of English and zillions of grammatical errors are among the main features.
4.Since,there is not much material to write on,they tend to fill up the paper with stupid advertisements.
Lastly,I would just say the standard of TOI is deproving day by day and they are not living upto the expectations of the reader.
“Bangalore times” is nothing but a waste of newsprint.
