I am not a big fan of Sidney Sheldon - so my opinion might be a touch biased.
I did not particularly enjoy this book.
The story revolves around a group of nuns and Basque Rebels running across Spain. While running across Spain most of these Nuns fall in love with their terrorist companions. It is silly to think that people that have made such a commitment to be the 'Bride of Christ' would jump at the first guy they see.
The second thing that I found objectionable about this book - was the glorification of the Basque rebels... who essentially were terrorists. Now I read this book a long time ago (pre-Sept 11th) and I always found the glorification of these people a bit SAD.
The good thing about this book is that I learned a lot about the 'Basque separatist' and the general history of spain.
