The rich mans wife... and she sure is. Review on The Rich Mans Wife Movie

Don’t know if you consider this movie as a new release, it was first in the movies in Sept 13, 2002. The movie is a Suspense Thriller.

The plot

The movie begins with Josie Potenza ( Halle Berry) a young woman who seems to have it all. She is married to a important man in the social circle he is rich, has a big beautiful home, and some really nice cars. Josie some would say has what every women wish they had. The problem was her husband Tony ( Christopher McDonald ) has a big time drinking problem and doesn’t really have time for Josie.

This leads Josie into having an affair with a man named Jake Golden ( Clive Owen ). Not wanting to ruin her marriage Josie and her husband decided to head off to the mountains for a romantic get away to spend quality time together. During this time Tony is called away on business and leaves Josie alone. This is when she meets up with Cole Wilson ( Peter Green ). Cole try’s to get to know Josie better and finds out that she is unhappy with her husband Tony.

Cole lays on a scenario and tells Josie that he would kill her husband for her. You see Josie doesn’t receive anything if she leaves her husband. She signed a pre-nuptial agreement, this means she can only get something if her husband is dead. Of course Josie doesn’t want him to kill her husband and she gets upset with the thought of it. She now wants to go back to her cabin and on the way there Cole ends up terrorizing her and almost ends up raping her, but Josie scars him off when she shoots a bullet towards his head. Ok, lets skip into the future of the movie.

Tony ends up dead, yes you guessed it Cole ends up killing Josie’s husband even though she didn’t want him too. Now Cole wants to be paid $30,000.00 dollars! If Josie doesn’t pay him the money he will tell the cops that she hired him to kill her husband and they would both end up in jail. Now the cops suspect Josie right away, but the one cop isn’t sure she was involved.

The search for the killer was now at hand. They (the cops) think it might have been a car hijacking. The thrills and chills just keep getting better as Josie, Jake, the lover and Cole the killer all intertwine together.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed this movie, and I felt there was enough thrills to keep me watching. I do have to say the ending will blow you away. Guess what maybe someone else was involved and you had no idea of this person. The relationship between Cole, Jake and Josie ends up being more then what you hoped it was going to be.

The special affects were awesome, and the story line was perfect. Halle Berry played a great role and she was very sexy and hot looking. She didn’t show any nudity but she sure did allow the men to wonder. I suggest you check this out, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
