No New Story With Full Action. Review on The Power

"The Power" film is about revenge. love, crime. Devidas Thakur(role played by Vidyut Jamwal) returns from Singapore and the suddenly involves in his family issues after being an attack on his father(role played by famous versatile actor Mahesh Manjrekar) on the day of his court-marriage with his childhood friend Pari(role played by Shruti Hassan). Pari is the daughter of Kalidas Thakur's most faithful staff Anwar(role played by Zakir Hussain). The story of this film is not a new, very weak story. This film seems remake of or to be South Indian Films. No strong story with full actions. Kalidas Thakur, a criminal rules over Mumbai and does illegal businesses. Kalidas Thakur's eldest son Ramdas Thakur's(role played by Jisshu Sengupta) wife Shaila(role played by Yuvika Chaudhary) creates miscommunication between Devidas Thakur, Pari & Anwar. Anwar wants to meet Kalidas after the attack on Kalidas Thakur but Devidas Thakur did not let him meet with his father due to miscommunication spread by his sister-in-law Shaila. Devidas Thakur wants to go back to Singapore but he couldn't and he involved fully in his family issues. Shaila's brother and Kalidas Thakur's son-in-law Ranjit(role played by Prateik Babbar) wants to take all illegal businesses of his father-in-law Kalidas Thakur. The overall main negative role played by Shaila(Yuvika Chaudhary) and Ranjit(Prateik Babbar) in this film. There are too many incidents in this film like the murder of Ramdas, Anwar, etc. Ranjit kills both his brother-in-law Ramdas and Pari's father Anwar.

Too many ups and downs in this film and cannot explain all points/incidents in a single review. I have covered the main points/incidents of this film. The story of this film is very fast like South Indian Films.

Pari was pregnant with Devidas Thakur's child. Pari gets married during pregnancy with Rana's(role played by great actor Sachin Khedekar) nephew to take revenge with Thakur's family because she thinks Thakur's kills her father Anwar. The climax is also not good, the only action.

The director of this film is the famous versatile actor Mahesh Manjrekar. Songs are not too much in this film and are not famous as well. Other casts like Sonal Chauhan played also a good role in this film. She played the role of Devidas Thakur's girlfriend. This film is available on the Zee5 OTT platform.

I personally did not like this film too much and I am giving two stars to this film.
