The movie ''The Matrix'' gives a kick-start with a computer screen tracing a phone call to a computer hacker named ''Neo'' (Keanu Reeves), the call is from Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss). The police trace the caller and close in to get hold of her and there simultaneously appears a couple of several secret service types led by an Agent, who warns the police that Trinity is not an ordinary women, they come to know the facts when Trinity escapes with swift and explosive decimation of the police officers an jaw dropping sequence of acrobatic and martial art dexterity.

She escapes from her pursuers by leaping off from the roof of the building onto the roof of another covering an impossible space in the leap and when she finally reaches a lone phone booth, but is run over by Agent in a truck. Surprisingly, she does escape... Now Don't ask me how, I can't tell that.

''Neo'' is a nickname used by the computer hacker, he is contacted by a Rebel Morpheus, who is being chased by the agents to capture him. Morpheus reveals that the life Neo is living is nothing but a dream and the world has been taken over by the advanced artificial intelligence machines created by human beings way back in 1990's. Neo is awakened from his dream and rescued by Morpheus and his followers are trained to become the choosen ONE that they believe him to be.

The movie takes you on a roller-coaster ride with some of jaw dropping piece of actions one after the other. Keanu Reeves has done a fine job as the saviour ''Neo''. Now the questions would pop-up into your mind, how good is the special effects. The complex digital work done on this film are simple marvels. And if you are in liking to the glorified roller coaster's ride.
