Story:

I bought this title from Landmark book store Mumbai. I bought this title after reading an interview of Mr. Ralf Dobelli in Times of India. I loved the title given by the news paper for that interview. Title was one of his quotes which read

A news is to mind is what sugar is to body.

He is one of the great thinkers alive. If you get to read about him, you would come to know that, he is one of the survivors of 2008 market crash. He is a businessman, a philosopher, a  thinker and a writer.

As he mentioned in the introduction of the book, this book is not his work. He just compiled the data over the years for his personal use and bind it together in a book for public use. He does not claim credit for any of its contents and he has also given credit for every sentence he has every used in the book. He was engaged in a legal fight with nicholas taleb who reviewed his book initially and later went to claiming that Ralf Dobelli stole his work. Ralf has clarified everything in the beginning of the book itself for readers.

This book is a compilation of errors in thinking. It is explains every error with examples for readers to understand. Now, many great books have been out there on the same subject. Two of which I can recall is Predictably irrational and Thinking fast and slow. But, this book is a compilation of many errors with practical examples. Many of these examples are of real experiences of Ralf Dobelli. This helps reader to get an idea and to make decisions.

I would also say that, this book will help you make some biggest decisions of your life. I just love some quotes from book.

Even if 50 million people says something wrong, it is still wrong.

This is just one example. I might have altered the words also, but meaning remains the same. I read this book twice and as per my recommendation, you gotta read this book again again just to memories the types of errors we can make during decision making process.

An android app is also available in play store with the same name. As claimed by the developer this app will help you take decisions and minimize errors in you life. I have not used this app so, I can not comment on it at this moment.

I wish I had a chance to rate beyond 5 stars. This book deserves it. You can buy this book from Amazon or Flipkart of if you are using kindle than you can get this book at very reasonable price around 175 rs. only.
