So yesterday I got a chance to watch the movie adaptation of one of the famous game THE ANGRY BIRD MOVIE and here's it's review for you.
Plotline: Red ( voiced by Jason Sudeikis) is an angry bird and due to one fail encounter with one family he was brought to the court of an otherwise peace loving Bird Island, where he was sentenced to attend Anger management class, where to his unfortunate luck, he got 2 friends - Chuck ( voiced by Josh Gad) and Bomb ( voiced by Danny McBride) . And then one fine day, a ship arrives at their island, and then landed the pigs headed by Leonard ( voiced by Bill Hader) . They have an hidden evil agenda at hand, which nobody else understood except Red but noone listens to him. They stole all their eggs. Now it's upto him and other birds to get revenge from pigs and to get their eggs back.
The animation is good with many hilarious touch and one liner quotes showed as text in scenes. Movie's starting is good with nice 3d effect and then the actions and happenings looks interesting and enjoyable. These birds may not seem as cute as minions but small children birds are really cute. The part where they're taking revenge from pigs the usual game way is shot awesome and is the best part of the movie, thus the movie stay true to the game theme as well. This whole scene of birds flying and destroying tge pigs colony has superb effect on 3d. Peter Dinklage is also there voicing the Mighty Eagle, the bird island's founder and legend for birds. Movie is not long just 1.5 hrs but it is enjoyable to the core, but you should watch it if you're onto animation.
I rate 3.5/5. Do watch for good time pass.
