The Amazing Spider-Man is a 2012 American superhero film directed by Marc Webb based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
Plot:
Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner.
It's still a visually pretty film, but just doesn't have enough juice to make you forget about the awesome originals.
