Story:

There is a lot already said, written and discussed about love, in many novels. "That kiss in the rain.love is the weather of life", the name itself depicts romance and love, thus no doubt the same topic has been discussed in this book. But yet, according to, me its very different from other books! The way book is written is unique, the way the characters are portrayed is amazing. The way the feeling and sentiments of the characters is brought up is tremendously good.

About the author-

The book is written by Novoneel Chakraborty. It is his second book. Other novels that he wrote are'How about a sin tonight?' and'A thing beyond forever.' Apart from books he also works as a scriptwriter for Hindi films. About the book-

This book revolves around three main characters Pallavi, Haasil and Swadha.

Pallavi- She is a rich, spoilt and tough brat. Fun, confident and furious by nature. An airhostess by profession. Believes that “Pallavi can only lose in one case, when she wants to’. She truly loves her childhood crush Dino.

Haasil- He is a young, businessman. Haasil is shown as an amnesiac. More like a monotonous person. He is love of three girls in this book. But he loves his wife Palki a lot.

Swadha- She is the most important character of the book. A simple girl. Her character answers all the questions of women of all ages. She is a person with modest ambitions and is in a never ending quest for true love.

The story of the novel-

The story begins when Nitin( Haasil's friend) visits Haasil at a hospital, who had met with an accident and hadHaasil to recover and lead a normal life. Yet Haasil always keeps on asking Nitin questions about his wife's absence in such a sensitive stage of his life. Inspite of this Nitin does not tell Haasil anything and keeps on making excuses about Palki's absence. After sometime Pallavi and Swadha enter into Haasil's life to make it more complicated. What happens next? How the three love stories get entangled? What happens to Haasil when comes to know the reality of his wife? Who gets Haasil at the end? To know the answer for all these questions you just need to buy a copy of this book.

The book is a exceptionally well written one. Novneel Chakraborty's way of story telling is tremendously good. The three main characters are portrayed descriptively. The detailing of the characters is such that its makes us feel attached with each and every part of the novel. The most important thing that makes this book very different from others is that it deals with the quest of true love, in a very mature way. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved evey part of it. Except for the ending which I felt was a bit abrupt. The writer left the end for reader to decide. This for me is not so appealing. Pros-

Very well portrayed characters.

Fantastic theme.

Nice story.

Cons-

Ending.

Overall-

This book is full of many twists and turns, which makes the reader stayed hooked to book. A very interesting read for the people who like to read love stories.

Thanks for reading!
