Read this before considering Test Rocker! You Need to KNOW.
OUR DAUGHTER’S MATH SCORE ACTUALLY WENT DOWN ON THE ACT AFTER USING TEST ROCKER!(100% true and a verified purchase)
We purchased Test Rocker in May 2022, and were told by their salesperson in multiple phone conversations going back to May 2022 that if we weren't happy, we could get a refund. This is back when they used to actually answer the phone at 201-801-3138. She(the salesperson) repeatedly stressed that they had a money back guarantee if we weren’t happy. Needless to say, Test Rocker has been an utter disaster! A definite waste of over$500!
We haven't been happy at all! We have repeatedly requested help and documented several challenges from me(parent) and our daughter via calls and multiple emails during the tutoring process from June through September 2022(ie daughter was registered for classes but repeatedly not getting the links(and they were not in spam, etc) then, they blame us for their tech issues or incompetence. This is only a tiny fraction of the real problem.
The real problem is that Test Rocker has instructors that are nearly impossible to understand(a substantial language barrier). Neither her nor I could understand them when they taught, let alone trying to explain a complex subject like math. Our daughter’s scores actually went DOWN after getting tutored by Test Rocker! Oh, and the worse part, is that the math instructors also give conflicting information from instructor to instructor.
Our daughter(who has a 4.31 GPA, and will graduate in May 2023 with her associate’s degree in hand) still tried to power through as much as she could but finally had to self-teach what she could when Test Rocker continued to fail her and not deliver on their promises. We had so many issues when she was trying to get final assistance before her second test attempt in September. She did her part, registered, was sitting and ready to learn, asked questions, and we both tried to get help, but Test Rocker failed.
BEWARE!
So, we relied on the promise made by their sales person and requested a refund in writing. After~6 weeks of repeated emails, they finally replied and refused the request. Yet, they refuse to acknowledge any of our documented concerns over the last several months with tech, incompetent instructors, language barrier, etc. They never answer the phone now. They don’t reply to emails or Facebook messages either. I went into to check to see if our daughter’s account had any correspondence regarding the refund, and now they locked us out of the account. That’s great business model or is it a scam? The definition of scam is “a confidence game to make a quick profit.”
Unfortunately, our only option now is to warn other parents who genuinely want the best for their kids about Test Rocker and tell of our experiences as a very dis-satisfied consumer. Beware of Test Rocker!
