Filled with emotions !. Review on Tera Mera Saath Rahen

Tera mera saath rahen takes you to a house where one sees how the elder brother Raj ( ajay devgan ) looks after his younger brother Rahul ( dushyant wagh ) who is a mentally challenged child! In the very beginning of the movie you can see the immense love between both the brothers and the way they are inseperable !

Raj and rahul live in a chawl and their neighbouring friends are Mr and Mrs gupta ( Shivaji satam and reema lagoo ) who have a son and a daughter Suman ( namrata shirodhkar ) who is in love with Raj !

It is raj's decision not to marry at all because of his brother whom he doesnt want to let go at all ! But somehow raj's sir ( prem chopra ) convinces raj into meeting Madhuri ( sonali bendre ) and raj actually falls in love with her at first sight ! But raj is scared into any kind of committment ! Madhuri soon confronts Raj whether they have a future together,meanwhile she even spends a few moments with rahul in order to make raj feel comfortable ! Madhuri even suggests that rahul could be put into some rehabilitation centre where rahul could be well looked after! At first Raj flares up and disagrees,this leaves Madhuri sad and she leaves him !

Raj tries to meet Madhuri but all in vain ! he soon realises that even he really loves her and wants her in his life thus getting him to the decision of admitting rahul to a rehabilitation centre ! Rahul is very hurt and unwilling to leave his house ! but Raj drags him out of the house and takes him to the centre ! this creates hatred in rahuls heart for his brother ! Raj now feels he is a free bird and can live his life the way he wanted it to be !BUT ! not having rahul around the house actually makes him lonely inspite of the fact that he now has Madhuri ! Raj decides he will get rahul back and not marry madhuri !

Happy ending ----- Rahul and raj are together ! Madhuri realises if she really loves raj then even rahul should be a part of her life !

Mahesh manjrekar has touched many sensitive issues connected with the lives of mentally challenged children thus giving te movie a real effect !

Reema lagoo does manage to add humor with her broken english ! but its really great to see her maintain that tone even when something serious is being discussed !

All the other characters of the chawl add alot of color to the movie ! The major drawback in the movie - the unrequired songs ! according to me only the title song was really nice !

Ajay devgan has given a brilliant performance !In a couple of scenes he really deserves a loud applause ! sonali and namrata are fairly good ! but ofcourse the one to stand out is dushyant wagh ( rahul ) who easily makes you go through a saga of emotions !

Sometimes even tears speak louder ! A must see !
