Welcome to the hall of Shame. Review on Ten Worst English Movies

To be honest picking ten films wasn't easy because I've always made sure that I watch the best hollywood films.. Always tried to skip the bad one's but still couldn't help falling prey for the following films.. Enjoy..!

Shame #1 :- Godzilla directed by Roland Emmerich

I remember watching it for the first time in 2002-03 and to be frank with you I did like it at the first viewing.. After a second watch 6 years later, I realized how stupid I was.. Afterall you can fool some people for some time,but you can not fool all people all the time.. Godzilla is such a lazy film all together.. The graphics was decent enough for 90's standards.. But now has become dated especially with the kind of technologies we've got these days.. The kids will enjoy it as always but have to admit its the worst film ever made.. Godzilla is that sort of film which makes 2012 look like a James cameroon Gem..

Shame #2 :- The Butterfly effect

This is definitely the worst sci-fi thriller ever made. Somewhat similar to Akshay kumar's 8*10 tasveer and to be honest kumar's movie was far better. A ridiculous story of a man getting powers of revisiting his past seemed unbelievable which could have worked with a better actor on the lead. That's where Butterfly effect fails big time, Ashton kutcher definitely was not the man for the job. The repetitive nature of this movie bored me to death. After a point you will also feel like spinning just like kutcher in this movie.

Shame #3 :- Boondock Saints Directed by Troy Duffy

If you take the basic intention of making a movie then I would say this is one of those badly intented movie of all time.. Ugly and Vulgar it just shows the worst tendencies of directors to copy cat other famous directors.. Yes I'm talking about Tarantino here.. Still the amazing thing about this movie is that it has good ratings from viewers..! People hail it as a classic cult film..! If anything it was willem dafoe who managed to spark off a few genuinely funny moments in this otherwise forgettable film..

Shame #4:- Catwoman directed by Pitof

The dissappointing thing about catwoman is that notonly that its a ridiculous film but also it spoils two of the best actresses in hollywood, Halle Berry and Sharone Stone.. This is one film which was lucky enough to get listed in American Film Institute's worst movies of all time list.. Well all one can say, atleast people will notice it for the wrong reasons of course.. :P

Shame #5:- Transformers Revenge of the Fallen directed by Michael Bay

This is what happens if you try to make your sequel bigger than the original.. Michael Bay is one of the bad directors I've seen in hollywood.. Transformers first film was enjoyable.. Third "Dark of the moon" was also a passable fair.. But this first sequel is as ridiculous as it can get.. Its unbearable in length, its filled with cheesy dialogues and what's more..? It has got some ugly looking actors.. (Except Shia La Beouf.. I think he's a decent actor made to look bad by BAY..)

Shame #6:- Priest directed by Scott Stewart

I sit through 15 minutes into this movie and realized that I've made a big mistake of watching it on 3D.. To be honest this Priest is a sinful waste of 3D.. Priest is a bad film made to look worse by its sinful waste of 3D.. Instead watch Blade series starring Wesley snipes, its cool..

Shame #7:- The Village directed by M. Night Shyamalan

A somewhat pointless film. This one got nothing scary about it.. One of the worst ending I've seen in any movie till date, it ends up reaching no where. In one line The Village is a movie which is tagged under the MYSTERY genre.. Mystery it surely is and would remain so to the audience.. :P

Shame #8:- Dracula 2000 Directed by Patrick Lussier

You would be surprised with the number of horror movies included in this list.. Just goes to show, when done wrong, horror can give you the worst nightmare you can ever imagine.. Watched it a long time back and when I look back at it I'm surprised to see that it has decent actors like Wesley snipes and Gerard butler in it.. Well make sure you give it a skip if you like them..

Shame #9:- Son of the Mask directed by Lawrence Guterman

Sequel to Jim carrey's over the top comedy THE MASK. Well there were die hard Carrey fans who said "All these nonsence could have been forgiven if Carrey were in it"..Well that sure is a huge compliment to the Legendary Jim Carrey but not to the film though.. :P

Shame #10:- 9 1/2 weeks directed by Adrian Lyne

All this film had was Kim Basinger's sex appeal and nudity.. The rest of the film is a complete zero.. Cultureless, Vulgar and Ugly.. 9 1/2 weeks comes in at Shame #10.. :)

I hate it when people mention spoof comedies like Meet the spartans and Scary movie in their list.. After all these were never taken seriously.. These were just spoof comedies and can not be considered as a movie.. Atleast both these films has some genuinely funny moments.. :)
