I love watching movies of any genre or language, provided there is a subtitle if it's a non-English language!. As a kid, I've watched lot of Hollywood movies which I don't clearly recall but anyway, I'm presenting here a list of Hollywood movies which I remember entertaining me to the core. These are movies which may not be technically perfect or wow critics but which I don't tire watching again & again. Giving them to you, in alphabetical order.

1) Back to the Future(1985)

He's the only kid ever to get into trouble before he was born.

Director - Robert Zemeckis

Starring- Michael Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson

My Rating - 8/10

What I think - One of my fav movie directors, Robert Zemeckis has come up with a work that's easily one of the best - Back to the future trilogy. All the three movies are hilarious entertainers. You just want to be there in the ride with Michael Fox as he experiences adventures of a lifetime in all the three movies.

2) Back to the Future II(1989)

Getting back was only the beginning.

Director- Robert Zemeckis

Starring - Michael Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson

My Rating - 8/10

3) Back to the Future III(1990)

They've saved the best trip for last. But this time they may have gone too far.

Director - Robert Zemeckis

Starring - Michael Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson

My Rating - 8/10

4) The Dark Knight(2008)

Why so serious?

Director- Christopher Nolan

Starring - Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart

My Rating- 9/10

What I think - Wow. Watta Baman movie! The actions are super-cool and super-engaging. And villain act by Heath Ledger as Joker is one of the deadliest villain roles I've seen in Hollywood. Hope he gets an Oscar(even if it's posthumous). And its this movie which propelled Christopher Nolan to be another of my fav directors.

5) The Frighteners(1996)

No rest for the wicked.

Director - Peter Jackson

Starring - Michael Fox, Trini Alvarado, Peter Dobson

My Rating- 8/10

What I think - Another hilarious movie starring Michael Fox. It's one of the best creepy comedies I've seen.

6) Godzilla(1998)

Size does matter.

Director **- Roland Emmerich

Starring- Matthew Broderick, Jean Reno, Maria Pitillo

My Rating - 8/10

What I think - I might have seen this movie nearly 10 times whenever it came on TV! The dinosaur chase scenes(whether its the dino chasing humans or humans chasing dino) is what makes this movie special.

7) Herbie goes to Monte Carlo(1977)

The Love Bug falls'hood-over-wheels' for a classy chassis!

Director - Vincent McEveety

Starring- Dean Jones, Don Knotts, Julie Sommars

My Rating- 8/10

What I think -This is a movie that I saw over two decades ago so I don't clearly recall all the scenes. But even now I remember that I must have seen this movie a couple of times enjoying every race scene by the cute car Herbie. Kids will love it.

8) Kill Bill: Vol.1(2003)

In the year 2003, Uma Thurman will kill Bill.

Director** - Quentin Tarantino

Starring- Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivia A. Fox

My Rating - 9/10

What I think - What gory action scenes but lovely one at that! Quentin has turned violence into a mesmerising art here. Wonderful sword-fighting choreography.

10) Liar Liar(1997)

Trust me.

*Director - Tom Shadyac

Starring **- Jim Carrey, Maura Tierney, Justin Cooper

My Rating - 8/10

What I think - One of my fav Jim Carrey movies. And sigh, I got a big crush on Maura Tierney after watching this movie.

11) Lady in the Water(2006)

Time is running out for a happy ending.

Director - Manoj Night Shyamalan

Starring - Paul Giamatti, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeffrey Wright

My Rating - 9/10

What I think - Having seen all his Hollywood releases, this ranks as my most fav Manoj Shyamalan movie. I feel this movie is much ahead of its time in terms of the story and probably, a reason why it failed commercially. Its a lovely fairytale that has wise messages for us all.

12) Mars Attacks!(1996)

Nice planet. We'll take it!

Director - Tim Burton

Starring - Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan.

My Rating - 8/10

WhatI think - So many major star cast but you never get lost! It's truly funny unlike its serious counterpart, War of the Worlds by Steven Spielberg. Enjoy the cute mayhem!

13) Nick of Time(1995)

Within 90 mintes, someone is going to die.And the clock is ticking.

Director - John Badham

Starring- Johnny Depp, Christopher Walken, Charles S. Dutton

My Rating - 8/10

What I think - An engaging thriller till the last minute of the movie. Sometimes you forget to release your breath as Johnny Depp fights precious time to save his young daughter and avoid killing the Governor.

14) Predator(1987)

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Director** - John McTiernan

Starring - Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Carl Weathers, Elidia Carrillo

My Rating- 9/10

What I think - Probably, Arnold's best movie after Terminator 2. Awesome background score and also every scene involving the predator is chilling. Another best aspect of the movie is that each comrade of Arnold has a strong role of their own and makes their presence effectively.

15) The Siege(1998)

On November 6th our freedom is history.

Director **- Edward Zwick

Starring - Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, Annette Bening

My Rating- 10/10

What I think - My most fav Denzel Washington movie. It's one of the best "fight against terrorism" movies I've seen.

16)Speed(1994)

Get ready for rush hour.

Director - Jan de Bont

Starring- Keanu Reeves, Dennis Hopper, Sandra Bullock

My Rating- 8/10

What I think - Speed is rush hour movie at its best! There's nothing much else I can say.

17) Starship Troopers(1997)

Genocide doesn't compare to this.

Director - Paul Verhoeven

Starring - Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, Denise Richards

My Rating - 8/10

What I think - This is another gore movie which you wouldn't mind watching attentively. This movie can also be a wonderful video game!

18) The Truman Show(1998)

All the world's a stage.

Director** - Peter Weir

Starring - Jim Carrey, Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich

My Rating - 9/10

What I think - My most fav Jim Carrey movie. I've read that Jim was not even nominated for the Oscars for best actor. If that's so, he must have been truly disappointed. He has given a wonderful performance here. A beautiful movie.
