English movies have set their own standards..with the time english movies have amazed me with the technical advancements and the acting skills of the actors. Obviously this is one topic I would love to write on..

(1)terminator-2(judgement day):well arnold is my favorite actor so this movie tops my list..and arnold along with james cameroon form a awesome pair..the graphics and special effects used in this movie still is fresh and great..

(2)back to the future:-made way back in 1980's this movie is one of the best hollyood movie I have ever seen..the movie is about a young boy(micheal j fox) who gets hold of a time machine and travels back into the time..got some hilarious parts in it.three sequels were made and all were great.a movie not to be missed..

(3)predator:-well this is the second arnold movie in the list..the movie revolces around arnold who along with his bunch of soldiers trapped in an remote island and fighthing a blood thirsty alien..the movie is well paced and the climax is great..keeps you on the edge of your seat..

(4)the mummy:-brendon fraser fights the evil imhotep in this horror/thriller.well that is the story but one great thing about the movie is the special efects used,especially scene in which jet in which bendon fraser is travelling is chased by a sand storm..breath taking that was.

(5)cliffhanger:-well good news for stallone fans for this one of the best action movies ever made in hollywood..brilliant story and who can forget the stunt performed when the hijackers move from one aircraft to another in mid air..

(6)the rock:-Nicolas cage and Sean Canary come together in this action flick as they save new york from terrorists who plan to destroy the city with the most deadliest missile ever produced..great acting by both the stars and the ending is just superb..

(7)godfather:-as sholay is to bollywood,godfather is to hollywood.based on the book written by mario puzo this movie is one of the finest movies ever produced..this movie describes the events leading to the rise and fall of the corleone family.movie which shot micheal corleone into fame..i recommend the readers to read the book first and then watch the movie..

(8)jaws:-i'am an animal and I seldom miss a movie based on animals..undoubtedly jaws is one of the better movies made in this category..it is the story of how three sailors settle scores with a shark that had made their life miserable in the sea..

(9)deep impact:-the whole of america is about to be destroyed by a huge comet.. does the us government manage to save the people??well that is left for you to see in the movie.but I can promise you that the movie is great.the movie is filled with action as well emotions..the last scene in which the president of usa gives a speech in front of a broken white house is mind blowing..

(10)evildead:-well readers do u have the balls to see the most scariest movie ever made..if not my advice do not watch this movie.this I say from my personal experience..it just scared the hell out of me and believe me I was scared even to venture out of my house for a week.scary,really scary..
