After the humongous success of whatsapp there are a number of apps being published everyday on android platform for free messaging, chat and file sharing services. Many of them have become extinct now.
Now a days there is new app coming into the use that is Telegram.
The concept of the app is almost the same with some added benefits: Like it has capacity to make larger groups having more number of members in it.otherwise it is having the same concept of free messaging and chat service.
layout and design: The layout and design is very basic and same as other chat apps. and there is nothing new in it. and I don't even expect anything new. ultimately they are just to chat and send messaging.
Features and functions: You can chat, send messages, which is the basic funtion of the app, other than that it has capacity to make bigger groups in it for a discussion and thoughts sharing.
You can share bigger even large files in it. so that is an added benefit.
There are some new refreshing stickers in it going beyond the age old smileys of whatsapp . so that is something new.
Usefulness: it can have larger group discussions in it. and a something change than whatsapp. also those who are fed up wtih whatsapp with so many people sneding messages then they can change to telegram.
But the biggest draw back is you cannot delete particular messages as you want them. you don't have personal modification access to the chat of the group. it occurs to all of them.
I am still prefering whatsapp as it has video call and audio call features in it. so it serves many function over telegram.
I don't much like it and don't recommend
