We had an unacceptable experience at Tejasvi Newborn care Hospital Vastral Ahmedabad. The doctors and nurses here are very unprofessional. The nurses here don't know how to behave with patients’s family members. They are very unprofessional and uneducated. When my baby was born, the gynaecologist called a doctor from this hospital and they started treatment. They called me and said that the baby had to be admitted to the NICU immediately. We agreed immediately. When I kept asking the doctor if my child was okay? Even after I asked the doctor and the nurse who came with him several times, they didn't give me a correct answer. Then they called me to their hospital and started the whole process. When I asked the doctor if everything was fine, he started yelling, "Why do people bring their babies here? The situation is critical, that's why we have brought it here." He doesn't know how a doctor should behave.
The person who works here is terrible. When the nurses gave me a list of medicines, I told the medical store person to wait because I wanted to verify it with the doctor first. The medical store person got angry and said, "If you want to get it from outside, get it. There is no compulsion." The behavior here is so bad.
The nurses here are not educated at all. They don't know how to behave. Rude behavior, not giving the correct answer, and making people wait for long hours are all they do here. When I took the medicine from the medical store and gave it to the nurses, they said that the baby powder would be given to us at the time of discharge, but they didn't give it to us.
Even after I paid all the bills, they didn't give us my child's file. At first, they said that the bill had not been made yet and that we would get the file when we came for the next checkup. They called us two days later.
When we went two days later, they did a routine checkup and asked us to get the jaundice report done, but we refused. Their behavior changed after that, and they were not giving us the correct answer to any of our questions. When we asked them to give us the child's file, they first said that the file was not ready yet and to come later. We said that you had said last time that we would get the file on the next visit, so why are you making us wait? Then they went and gave us the child's file. After being in such a toxic environment, when we came home, I checked the file and they had given the file of someone else. Their management system is so bad. Even though there are senior doctors, such mistakes are happening.
When I called them and told them that someone else's file had come, they said to come and change it today. When I went to change it, they first made me sit for 30 minutes just to change one page of the file. They didn't change it immediately and told me to leave the file there and they would call me and tell me to come and get it. I told them that I wanted to talk to the doctor, so please arrange it, but they didn't even let me talk to him. After one hour, they gave me the file.
The doctor's job is to behave well with patients and make them feel comfortable, but Dr. Amrut G. Prajapati and Dr. Dhara don't know how to do it. We got the treatment done by paying money, not for free. If you are charging high fees, why can't you provide service? I am very disappointed to have been treated here. You should think about it.
