I purchased TCL 3101A dvd player few years back. The system worked well for few years, and started trouble in last december. I approached the local TCL service point, the technician told me the eprom got corrupted and should be replaced. The estimate is for around Rs.1500/-. I accepted for that and till today neigher I got the new eprom nor the old eprom got repaired (s/w reinstalled). Somebody told me that the spares are available in mumbai barons office (which seems to be closed). As I didnt have the reach of finding the address and other details, I gave up for searching and still depending on the service center person.
