I do not know where to start. The whole company is tone-deaf.
I was looking for Samsung Watch 4 Classic, considering the positive reviews on Youtube. TATA Cliq was only site where I found it.
Ordered it. Got message that product has been dispatched by XpressBees.
I do not know why, I had bad feeling.
On 31st December, I got message that delivery boy is waiting at your doorstep from Xpress Bees, (Whatsapp), I messaged back that no one waiting: No response. And lo and behold, at around 3:00 I got message that the watch is delivered(Mind you, I have prepaid it considering the TATA brand).
I texted the TATA Cliq customer care on phone, at first they started saying this is first time it happened, won't happen again, give us 3 days and we will get back to you.
No update.
I texted again, Got response, will get back to you within 48 days.
No Update.
I texted again, Got response, give us 2 working days.
No Update.
I texted again, and they said to mail csmanagement@tatacliq.com. I did with all screenshots, evidence, proof.(On 5 Jan)
I got response on 7th Jan with a proof of Delivery with fake sign, and delivery location of 9 Km away from my location.
No response for 7 days!
Then one day a random delivery guy comes and gives the watch, I hurriedly ask the Customer Care(Chat), what to do? They don't give clear answer. I have already paid for the watch and guess what, the delivery guy doesn't ask for any proof/ sign nothing. He just gives me the watch. The delivery box is properly packed.
But I had my doubt, I start filming and guess what? The box inside(of actual box) is open. Meanwhile I am not getting any response from the customer care. (I am requesting for a call back considering complexity of scenario, he says we won't call you back).
I briefly pondered to not receive the box, but I had inkling feeling that these are very untrustworthy services(Both TATA Cliq and Xpress Bees). I knew if I don't receive the packet, I am never gonna see my money or watch.
I decided to receive the watch and provide proper evidence to the TATA Cliq(Considering the trust of TATA brand) and atleast the watch will be safe in my hand till TATA Cliq decides to take return.
Can you guess what happened next?
I email all the video evidence of tampering with the box to TATA Cliq. They ask me to open the box and send product images. I open the box and Lo and Behold, the internal boxes(which have charger) is also torn apart. The watch has fingerprints mark and all.
As I had guessed, the Xpress Bees Delivery boy had shown fake delivery proof(That was refuted by me) and was using the watch himself. When the evidence of delivery was refuted, the box was hurriedly packed(Literal sign of hurry packing with bend and forceful closing of inner boxes) and delivered to me.
I made a video and send that too along with the details asked by TATA Cliq team.
I am sent a mail that we will investigate.
Can you guys guess what was the result of that detailed investigation?
I got response on call and mail: We have found that proper QC was done before delivering the product and we WILL NOT initiate another investigation.
Basically, I trusted this brand, paid in advanced, They and Xpress Bees together played with trust, used my watch, and then delivered a used watch and told me to screw myself.
I am pondering to go in court now, but considering my busy life, I don't know if I can do that.
AND ALSO, THEY DON'T LET YOU POST A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON SITE, LIKE LITERALLY THEY WILL STRIKE IT DOWN.
They will reject negative review.
Keep your money safe, don't pay these people and if you see Xpress Bees as your delivery partner. Just cancel the order. Trust me. If you don't, you will regret it.
I won't upload the chat with delivery guy as it contains phone number of Delivery guy(He deserves his details to be exposed but I am still holding myself back)
