We had Tata Sky previously. Very bad local service by their franchisee who was always demanding extra money over and above fixed charges and their habit of never attending to a job on time(" Dont call us on weekends or holidays"). No action from Tata Sky after complaining.
This forced us to change to Airtel Digital. Airtel Digital had better clarity and easier navigation and more choice in channels.
Their service also was prompt, till recently.
Now, they do not acknowledge emails, they do trial and error repairs for which you have to pay whether successful or failure.
A lady caller from Airtel was totally impolite and disconnected while I was talking to her.
I informed them I am not going to renew my subscription after an issue of getting blank screens for most daily watched channels including HBO, BBC etc. For this I had to pay for LMB replacement with service charge. There was no success, so now they say STB has to be replaced, for which also I must pay plus service charge.No guarantees for this
I said no thank you. So now, they are saying they will give me an used STB as replacement.
(If you have a stone in a chapatti in a restaurant, will you accept another chapatti which was left on a neighboring table)
Right now I am looking at the Videocon DTH web page.
At some point in their business these people need to realize that they need us it is not the other way around.
