Installation and Interface
Very easy to Install the system, ofcourse done by TataSky engineers but seems very easy. All you need to buy the STP box and inform the Customer Care. If you have Sarkari Phone line then to tollfree otherwise need to dial STD for contacting customer care. They will take the necessary information and then within a day or two will come for installation. At the same time, will be giving the basic training, on how to use the STP and Remote, with humble politeness. This politeness I haven't seens with any other service. Once installation is done, all you need to recharge yoour account.
The quality of installation is very good, the wiring is done neatly taking care of the basic sanity. Although if you want to move your TV in different rooms, you need to request the engineer to leave extra wire for hte same.
Reception and Service
Earlier used the service of Cable TV and I can compare with that only. Just want to say, better not to compare that stupid Cable service notonly with TATA SKY but any other DTH service. The quality of TataSky is unbelievably wonderful.
The only problem I am facing is with the STP. It hangs sometimes, so requires restart(just like windows)
Pricing
Initially they offered 180/- per months for first 3 months, but now it seems they are going to charge 300/- per month. And they do not have any other plan also. The only problem I see with Tatasky is the Paid-movies, they always show total-flop movies(except some exceptions).
Recharge
Very easy mechanism, known to everybody now a days. Just buy a recharge coupon and call the customer care centre. Will get reflected into your system within no time.
