I bought Indica V2 Diesel (DLS) and it will be 1 year on 12th of december 2004. I have already done 21000 Kms (less than a Year). 5 Free Services, low cost of running (14-17 kms with AC, 16-19 without AC), excellent power steering and really superb riding experience.

Very Spacious, excellent cooling of AC makes it an enviable car, the only drawback is - Heating AC (HVAV) is only available in DLX model. As I live in Delhi where atmosphere is too hot in summers and too cold in winters, not having heater pinches a lot. But Service centres tell me that I can install heater in 4000 bucks!

People tell me that the car is new so good performance, once it gets old then it will start giving problems, I am still waiting for it to get old...

Moreover, on the bumper to bumper rushy roads of delhi, I am without worries as any car bumping into me or I bumping into them, my car would suffer nothing whereas others cars... u know! The only vehicle I have experienced putting dents in my car is Maruti Gypsy! So be careful of that!!!

I am adding this dated 27th of September, 2006. My Indica will be 3 years old on 12th of December. I am still enjoying my car with no hassles and problems. Apart from regular servicing, I am spending some money on denting and painting caused by autos and trucks. So you can say I have become careless about car and driving as a whole, but this car doesn't fail to give me a sense of security.

Now, I have also driven Hyundai Viva Accent CRDi. It is more spacious than Indica (now here I wonder why am I comparing 3 box 6.7 lacs car with 2 box 3-4 lacs car, didn't I get any equivalent car to compare?), less fuel consuming than Indica and lot more powerful than Indica. But there are 3 fronts on which Indica beats Accent Viva CRDi. One, the seats in Accent are too low. 2nd, the back seat is very cushiony but the angle is such that it seems to be very uncomfortable on long journeys. 3rd and most important is the cost of servicing is too high for Accent (or does it seem to be high as compared to servicing of Indica???).

I am still waiting my car to get older.
