I bought my car in early 2002 (time when V2 was very new). People around me told so many points against the Diesel Engine but still I bought it. Now I really feel that my decision to buy that CAR is really the best.
Safety and Comfort :-The reason why I am saying ''the Best'' is becasue I oftenly go for longdrives on my Indica. 300-400 kms in one sitting is peanuts for this Machine. The kind of comfort one gets inside in unbelievable. Safety is not at all a concern for us (unless something devastating event occurs). One can take this Car to any kind of roads without even thinking once because of its power of absorption of bumps, pothole effects. I drove from Gurgaon to Bhopal few times 775 Kms in 13.5 Hrs and hardly feel uncomfortable except tireness.
Design :- As somebody said, the Design is far better the lot of other cars, feels proud of holding the Indian-make CAR.
When I saw the same car, on UK road, it gave me a wonderful feeling.
Efficiency : 16+ KMs/Liter (during peak office hours), and highways 19-20 kms/lit.
Disadvantages.
NOISE :- Yeah, its true that CAR makes noise, but its early in the morinng during starting the engine. After you drive few KMs, the Cabin becomes substantially silent (not comparing with Petrol engines), that you won't really feel like noisy.
Slow Pickuk - is another area, where this heavy engine lacks behind its competetors but for me its Ok as I don't go out for Racing....
