I recently booked Tata Hexa XT. I took a test drive and I instantly fell in love with this SUV.
XT is a top end model and it has all the features that you see in an audi or BMW. It comes with all the basic features such as power steering, power window, infotanment system, central locking etc.
The features that makes it special are its safety features. It has eight air bags, traction control, hill descent control, rear view camera with sensors, generation 9 ABS( the latest ABS so far) , fog lamp, Daytime Running Light, Electronic Stability Program and a tonnes of other features. It also has cruise control, rain sensing wipers. It has different drive modes for different types of road.
The deisgn of the vehicle stunning and it looks like a beast with 19 alloy wheels.
XT model comes with 6 speed manual trasmission which is good as you get an extra gear. The normal speed for the vehicle is 120 km and it can go up to 210 kmph.
XT is a 4X2 wheel drive as we don't really need 4X4 in india. Although if you want you can 4X4 as well in XT4X4.
All the interior is of black leather which look very classy indeed. The infotaiment sysyem provided is ConnectNext TouchScreen Infotainment System by Herman which is a world famous brand. There are 10 speakers ( 5 Speakers + 4 tweeters + 1 subwoofer) of JBL, again a branded product.
The On Road price that I have got is Around 17.5 Lacs which is subject to very from city to city and showroom to showroom but for features such as this its not very high.
