I have been using DOCOMO services now for over an year. Everything was fine until their launch of 3G service.
They launched free trial of 3G services for 7 days and things really did seem to be what they had promised with respect to Internet speeds. I was getting a fairly good speed of 2 mbps in the free trial period. Once the free trial period got over, all the hype surrounding 3G deflated.
Their speeds dropped back to 2G(120 kbps to 180kbps). I called customer care service several times a day for couple of days. Every time, they told me its problem with my handset or it is due to congestion. Speeds remained the same throughout the day and night, no change.
I even spoke to their supervisors telling them about my plight with Internet speed being very slow, They promised it would be resolved within 24 hours(their standard dialogue), but nothing seemed to happen. I even disconnected my previous net connection during the trial period coz it was good enough then but now I regret doing so. I really do not understand what the problems is, coz nobody is telling the exact reason for Internet speed going down to such pathetic low levels. I am not asking for 21 mbps as their sms advertisement claims. All I need is a modest 3-4 mbps speed.
